The Tumble Weed is an enemy in Secret of Evermore. It is a tumbleweed that can be found blowing around the Desert of Doom.

Strategy

Tumble Weeds are constantly moving, blowing randomly through the desert, until they suddenly turn and track the player, intent on rolling into them to damage them.

Player Improvement

Despite their appearance, Tumble Weeds offer a fair amount of both experience and jewels. Nevertheless, their speed, coupled with the inherent danger of the Desert of Doom, makes them less than ideal for player improvement.

Tumble Weeds have the highest rate of dropping a Monster Prize, at 12/128 or 9.375%. They are the only enemy in the game with this rate. As they are only found in the Desert of Doom, they drop:

Nectar x 1 (10/14) , Cash x 45 (1/14) , Water x 1 (3/14)

If the player is in need of healing when traversing the Desert of Doom, they may opt to kill any Tumble Weeds they cross, for their frequent Nectar or Water (Heal) drop.
